LISA GUTKIN - fiddle, baritone violin, vocals

A native New Yorker and a mainstay in many of the city’s musical sub-cultures, Lisa has performed and recorded with a vast number of international artists, including Tommy Sands, The Klezmatics, Jane Siberry, Christine Lavin, Peter Knight, Gabriel Yacoub, Pete Seeger, The Roches, John Cale, Elizabeth Swados, Steve Cooney, Emer Kenny, John Whelan, Ensemble Galilei, The Waverly Consort, and The Soldier String Quartet, as well as with a variety of other groups, from bluegrass bands to symphony orchestras. She is currently finishing work on her debut solo album, which will feature several of these same artists.
